Meditation
From a mental perspective, we see that the events within us are actually a reflection of the complete macro universe and the equivalent of its events. When getting to know the nature of reality, it is most appropriate to start from the microuniverse, with meditation. Then the external reality is added as the internal recognition.
When we leave mind and matter with meditation, we begin to swim in the energy from which material reality actually originated. If the human mind in nature represents the micro-universe, then the dimensions (macro-universe) outside it are actually imprinted in it, but in the form of the unconscious. Many times we do not understand and do not see what is actually happening outside the mind and its interpretations because we do not have a proper insight into internal events. During meditation, we want to transcend that mind and then its inadequate views of the nature of reality disappear by itself. And then for the first time we really "see". Meditation thus takes on the nature of awakening.
Meditation is a journey towards awakening and that is why its nature is irreducible to mental techniques. If a "technique" is used, it first deals with the dizziness of the mind. It is important to keep in mind that many meditative groups deal with the complete manipulations of that mind, while the true evocative nature of the techniques is disguised behind romantic visualizations, lotus worlds, and apparent love.
